Boardwalk Inn

Rooms were clean. But over priced. We booked the premium suite according to the beautiful pictures. Furniture is not what’s advertised in prop photos, and rooms do not have marble as advertised. It’s not a luxury room as shown by any means. Fridge is super small. Smaller than what’s typical in hotel rooms. it’s 1/2 the size of what counter was built for. I think it was the smallest size fridge ever designed. Also no room service is offered and there’s no laundry machines on the property. While it was clean, it’s way over priced.

My husband and I stayed there to celebrate our wedding anniversary. WORST Mistake EVER. The rooms are outdated. For the price of $273.58 per night we expected more. No microwave in the room. No ventilation in the restroom. Mold on the ceiling. The room was very outdated. No free breakfast. The AC is controlled by the hotel. It was hot. We tried to lower it but it cooled down, went out, got hot , came back on, hot again.When we checked in we were given card to access the room and a red tag to hang in our car. Never did they explain that we needed the scan code to exit so when we tried to leave had to turn around and go back to request code to exit. Everything was just outdated in the hotel. Need better cable TV options. Also need to shampoo the carpet because it smells in the hotel. If your looking for a quiet place to relax. This is not it.

Cute place in way cuter resort. But I have to knock the owners for being so cheap they won't even get wifi for the motel or upgrade their tvs from 2002. The tvs have 18 channels but 5 of them are news. Nothing special. They are not compatible with HDMI. So, return to the 90's by staying here. Which is cool in its own way. That said, to upgrade all rooms with a 50" roku smart tv: $8,000. To add wifi to entire motel: $200/month. Quit milking the cow and feed it already. Good food nearby - Bubba Gump is awesome. The aquarium is junk.

BE AWARE!!! We stayed 3 days 2 nights. The day we came in, we thought the room was ok. Boardwalk view and a balcony. We always bring our firestick on our trips. It's always good to have your own streaming apps. Well, the TV is very old and doesn't have where tu plug anything 🙄. We went to bed the first night, Saturday morning. we noticed that our youngest son had some kind of bite on his neck and behind his head, and we thought it was just mosquito bite. Second night, Sunday morning, our son woke up complaining about more bites, head, hands, and on his face. We looked it up. Definitely BED BUG BITES!!! now my poor son has an allergy reaction. We told the lady at the front desk, and she just said, "Oh ok, thank you. I just hope they will do something about it. Cause the lady didn't look concerned at all. Almost forgot, walls are so thin that you can hear everything that is happening in the next room.
